Why Should You Attend Evergreen Middle School?

Evergreen Middle School (EMS) is a comprehensive middle school, home to 490 students. Our school community is rooted in our mission and vision that calls the members of our community to RISE. We are committed to an extraordinary student experience that has equal emphasis on academic preparation as well as social/emotional programming. A perennial recipient of the CDE John Irwin Award for academic excellence, students at EMS engage in a challenging academic experience that is met with significant support from a highly qualified teaching and support staff. Programming to support the middle school experience includes Sources of Strength, Leadership elective classes, homeroom enrichment/intervention classes, as well as GT Center programming. EMS also has three specific Career and Technical Ed experiences as part of the electives program. As part of the 2019 voter approved Bond, EMS received a full interior remodel and renovation, updating our facility to reflect our identity as Mountain School. At EMS we RISE to thrive.
